Mr. George Royeca

Mr. George Royeca is the CEO and Transport Advocate of the Pinoy firm Angkas. A passionate advocate and an innovative entrepreneur, George has always been at the forefront of movements that fight for the rights of over 18 million motorcycle riders in the country.

During the pandemic, George co-leads the highly regarded private sector consumer campaign called Ingat Angat Tayong Lahat. This campaign brought together the largest brands and corporations in the country in an overwhelming display of unity to boost consumer confidence for economic recovery.

His contributions to the transport and business industries were highly recognized, having been awarded as one of the Top Outstanding Young Men in 2020 dubbed, "the Pandemic Batch", Emerging Entrepreneur of 2022 by the Entrepreneur of the Year Philippines (EOYP) Award, Best ESG Campaign or Case Study to Improve the Quality of People’s Work at the recently concluded global ESG 2022 Awards and Philippine Tatler’s definitive list of Asia’s Most Influential.

Driven by his advocacy for poverty reduction, Angkas has not only pioneered motorcycle taxis in the country but also disrupted the transport industry. His goal is to expand his reach to provide life-changing opportunities to 18 million motorcycle owners in the country and hope to help eradicate poverty in our lifetime.
