Mr. Jose Victor Paterno joined 7-Eleven Philippines in 1993 as Construction and Maintenance Manager following three years as an Engineer for Nestle USA. His father, the Founding Chair, prevailed on him to stay five years before he left his General Manager for Support role to co-found two tech startups (both now successfully exited). He returned as President and CEO in 2005 at the invitation of the (by then – and now) majority shareholders President Chain Store of Taiwan.

Mr. Parterno is Co-Chair of the Bishops Businessmen’s Conference, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Makati Business Club, and is on the Executive Committee for Global Convenience Retail Association NACS in addition to chairing its International Board.
