Ms. Beatrice Alexa Karamihan

Ms. Bea Alexa Karamihan started her career in government service at the Governance Commission for Government-Owned or -Controlled Corporations (GCG) under the Office of the President as a Technical Assistant and rose from the ranks to become a Division Chief from 2015 to 2024. Prior to her appointment to the Foreign Trade Service Corps (FTSC), she worked at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) as a Central Bank Associate and taught at the Carlos L. Tiu School of Economics of De La Salle University.

She graduated cum laude with a degree in Development Studies from the University of

 the Philippines. She also holds a Diploma in Development Economics from De La Salle

 University. In 2020, she obtained her Master of International and Development

 Economics degree with a double specialization in Microeconomics and Development

 Policy from the Australian National University under the auspices of the Australia Awards
