Mr. Kristopher Catalan

Mr. Kristopher Catalan is a dynamic leader known for challenging the status quo and fostering intelligent discourse, he believes meaningful change begins with curiosity and an openness to new ideas.

He is a Certified Public Accountant and currently leads Philippine EY Private (client service group focusing on private clients). With extensive experience in assurance and advisory services, he works with multinational and publicly listed companies reporting under IFRS, PFRS, and US GAAP, including integrated reporting requirements such as PCAOB and Japan SOX. His expertise includes financial due diligence, accounting advisory, complex business combinations, consolidations, revenue recognition, and asset impairment.

He has led audits across a wide range of sectors including consumer products, real estate, technology, automotive, aviation, healthcare, logistics, hospitality, agriculture, and asset management. Notably, he led a multidisciplinary team in the largest re-IPO of a consumer-based conglomerate in 2013 and heads the Firm’s Sugar Industry Resource Group.

He completed the Executive Development Program at the Kellogg School of Business, Northwestern University, and earned dual degrees in Accountancy and Finance & Management Accounting (Cum Laude). He also serves as Audit Committee Co-chair of the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines.

Beyond his professional work, he actively supports entrepreneurs and start-ups and founded “Keeping the Spirit of Charity,” a community outreach initiative serving various communities in Luzon.
