Ms. Maro Ledesma

Ms. Maro Ledesma currently leads the growth and expansion as Head of People at Indie Campers and has been affiliated with the Philippine HR Institute since 2025 and Human Resources Educators of the Philippines (HREAP) since 2019. 

With over a decade of experience in the HR industry, Ms. Maro takes great pride in her extensive background in both structured organizations and start-up workplaces. The businesses she had the honor to work with primarily fall within the realms of IT & Digital Marketing, IT-BPO, Onshore/Offshore BPO & Shared Services, and Travel, focusing on end-to-end HR and business operations as well as general scalability.

In recent years, she had also been wearing regional and global hats in some of the well-known brands in the travel and tech space namely Trip.com Group, Harte Hanks, and VFS Global. While her role demands frequent travel, she makes it a point to engage in various professional and personal interests, while also championing her advocacy for learning and development in both academic and corporate settings.  She has been affiliated with Human Resource Educators of the Philippines (HREAP) since 2019 and the Philippine HR Institute since 2025.

Ms. Maro’s approach is often recognized as both strategic and operational, guided by the philosophy of 'servant leadership.
