Ms. Valerie Laura V. Marquina is an Intellectual Property Rights Specialist IV at the Bureau of Trademarks. She has been serving as a trademark examiner since 2005, bringing with her extensive experience in trademark examination and practice. She is frequently tapped as a lecturer in various trademark-related trainings, where she shares her expertise with stakeholders and practitioners. In 2014, she attended the Madrid Fellowship Program of the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva, a one-year program focused on the international trademark registration system.
