Mr. Robert Ramon F. Trota, CFE is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Max’s Group, Inc. (MGI), the Philippines’ largest casual dining restaurant group. He resumed the dual leadership role in August 2023, guiding the company’s continued expansion and strategic growth. MGI manages a diverse portfolio of 14 brands, including Max’s Restaurant, Pancake House, Yellow Cab Pizza Co., as well as global brands such as Krispy Kreme and Jamba.

A respected leader in the franchising industry, Mr. Trota served as President of the Philippine Franchise Association (2005–2009) and later as Chairman (2009–2013), helping elevate Filipino franchise concepts to world-class standards. He received the PFA Legacy Award in 2019 and currently serves as Vice Chairman and Director for Global Filipino Brands for the 2025–2027 term.

In 2024, he was honored with the Business Icon Award by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Under his leadership, Max’s Group has expanded to over 600 stores across North America, the Middle East, and Asia, reinforcing its reputation as a global food and beverage powerhouse while preserving its signature “Sarap-to-the-Bones” hospitality.
