Mr. Toby Claudio is a key driver behind the transformation and growth of the Quorum Group, the parent company of Toby’s Sports— the Philippines’ largest sporting goods retailer. Since joining the family business, he has expanded the group from 13 to 68 physical stores nationwide, strengthened by more than 10 e-commerce platforms, and grown its portfolio to include over 15 global sports and fitness brands, alongside private labels.

A retail innovator, Mr. Claudio pioneered several of the country’s most distinctive sports concepts, including Toby’s Arena, the Philippines’ first interactive sports store; RUNNR, a world-class running specialty store recognized globally for its advanced gait analysis; and urban Athletics, a sports lifestyle brand inspired by global sneaker culture. These brands have earned multiple honors as Most Outstanding Filipino Retailer, with Toby’s Sports also recognized as Outstanding Filipino Franchise by the Philippine Franchise Association.

An early adopter of digital commerce, he led the group’s online expansion as early as 2010. Today, platforms such as tobys.com, runnr.com.ph, and urbanathletics.com.ph rank among the country’s fastest-growing retail sites. For his impact on the industry, he received the Young Market Masters Award for Business Development. Beyond business, Mr. Claudio is an active sportsman and a devoted family man.
